DEC Dubai

Dheeraj and East Coast (DEC) is a property development joint venture established in 2005 between Mumbai-based Dheeraj Group and Dubai-based East Coast Group. With a combined property development experience in excess of six decades, the focus of DEC has been to create uniquely distinct concepts for residential, commercial and hospitality real estate.

Based in Dubai, DEC has offices in London, Mumbai and Melbourne and continues to seek realty investment opportunities globally. Currently, DEC has 20 high-profile upcoming projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with an investment value of over US$1.5 billion (AUS$1.9 billion).

DEC's diverse portfolio of developments in the UAE includes retail, commercial and residential projects that feature global culture and mixed-use living, with a combination of modern and old world charm.

At the helm of affairs at DEC is Managing Director Mr Dheeraj Wadhawan. Dheeraj joined his family's construction business at the age of 21 after graduating from Boston, USA. Since then he has been involved in the day to day management of the entire construction group in India and has been the key driver in the development and success of DEC in the UAE.

DEC's most prominent project and flagship venture is the recently completed DEC Towers, located in the prestigious Dubai Marina, a world class master planned development by Emaar. DEC Towers is a substantial residential project with two towers and a podium comprising of 507 apartments. DEC has a number of successful projects launched and sold in Dubai's master planned communities including Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Village, Culture Village and Business Bay.
